Join us in sending best wishes to our member Joy Wanjau Wamboi 'Ramos' on her graduation from Masinde Muliro University.

 

After successful completion of her coursework,Wanjau graduated with a diploma in sports Management and Administration.

Currently,she is working as a team trainer with women and Development against Distress in Africa(WADADIA FC)based in the Kenya Women Premier League and founded on three interrelated pillars of Psycho social support,reproductive health and economic empowerment.

"KEFWA visited us while I was still at Eldoret Falcons FC and the Education officer Dan Makori uged those players who wish to study to come forth. I then applied and got scholarship which helped in fees," says Wanjau.

Transitioning from active football to sports administration,the former 'No Nonsense' defender notes that the skills,training and experience gained will be handful in fostering her career in the sports industry in Kenya.

Recently,she also graduated with a CAF D licence after completion of the coaching course offered by the Football Kenya Federation(FKF).

"The women football industry is still growing albeit at a promising rate. I am hoping to make use of these expertise in creating a positive impact to our women," she noted.
