GROWING THE GAME TO GREATER HEIGHTS.
Enez was recently appointed as part of the FIFPRO Global Player Council,a body whose mandate is to strengthen the role of professional footballers in shaping their industry at an international level,reinforcing the mandate of FIFPRO and it affiliated national player associations to protect the interests of players around the world and safeguard their rights.
"I was very excited when I got the news that I will be joining the Council. It is a very big challenge but I am well prepared for it because I have been in various leadership positions throughout my Career. The experience and Knowledge gained will be handful in my new role",Enez noted while speaking to KEFWA Media.
The former Vihiga FC Captain and three times Kenya Women Premier League(KWPL) Champion will make use of leadership skills coupled with international experience to comment on,discuss and influence global regulations,trends and strategic development of football worldwide.
"It is going to be a very exciting position for me because I will not only be representing players from Kenya and Africa but the whole world. I am looking forward to achieving many things because football is changing very fast and being in the Global Council where we have one voice and speaking one language will help the game grow,develop and become much better",Enez said.
Notable members from Africa in the Council include Andre Onana(Cameroon,Inter Milan) Rasheedat Ajibade(Nigeria,Atletico de Madrid) Andrew Ayew(Ghana,Al Sadd) Sedilame Boseja(Botswana,Mamelodi Sundowns) and Giorgio Chiellini(Italy,Los Angeles) among others.
