MARTIN IMBALAMBALA JOINS KEFWA SECRETARIAT AFTER GRADUATING.

Former Harambee Stars and AFC Leopards Midfielder Martin Imbalambala graduated on Friday from the Kenya Society for the Blind(KSB)in Nairobi,Kenya.

Imbalambala joined the school earlier in 2022,after an ordeal in 2018 which left him blind,cutting short his glamorous career in Football.

Being one of the recent graduates from KSB,He successfully gained knowledge,skills and experience in orientation,mobility,using the braille,adaptative Computer and also part of the Futsal team.

" This is a very great day to me and my family.I am happy to graduate today because this journey has been long and tough. I thank God,my wife,Family and friends who have supported me through," noted Martin.

Following his graduation,the former midfield maestro will be joining the Kenya Footballers Welfare Association(KEFWA)as part of it's secretariat,with some of the key roles including representing the Welfare of people with disabilities(PWDs).

KEFWA education officer Dan Makori noted that they have been with Imbalambala and prior to his auspicious occasion,the management held consultative discussions and agreed on bringing him on board,"Makori stated,adding that he will be very instrumental to the Organization.

"Martin Imbalambala's potential is very big. He will be joining the KEFWA secretariat and ofcourse some of the welfare of our members with disabilities. Also with his inspirational journey,we will be having him in our mentorship and capacity building programs,".
